PRAKRITI BASED YOGA

Yoga according to prakriti/constitution. Prakriti is defined as the natural characteristics of individuals. It is responsible for the development of the three gunas in the individuals. These gunas include Sattva, Rajas and Tamas. Ayurveda defines prakriti as the mental and physical composition of the individuals.

YOGA FOR ELDERS

Yoga is possible for people of all ages and all walks of life to benefit from the various techniques that yoga offers. Yoga helps keep the joints steady and flexible. Helps maintain healthy bones and muscles. Improves digestion and clears bowel movements. Regulates blood pressure.

YOGA FOR PRENATAL AND POSTNATAL

Before conception prepares the women physically, emotionally and spiritually for conception. Post natal period women undergo many changes physically and mentally. Tones abdominal muscles and brings back into shape. Helps to prevent post-natal depression, balances emotions, improves overall well-being.

MANTRAS

It is a type of yoga that uses mantras to awaken the self and deepen the meditative aspects of a physical yoga practice. Through Mantra we can engage the mind by focusing on sound, duration and number of repetitions. Mantra recitation shows us how we can substantially modify the direction and state of our lives by making use of sound.

PRANAYAMA

It is the yogic practice of focusing on breath. Prana means ‘vital life force’ and yama means to gain control. In Yoga, Breath is associated with the prana, thus pranayama is a means to elevate the prana shakti or life energies.

MEDITATION FOR ANXIETY; STRESS; CHAKRA MEDITATION

Meditation will take you on a journey of relaxation. You will clean the clutter of your mind to calm you. It reduces stress level as well as improve overall health. Goal of meditation is to learn how to let go whatever is weighing you down and realize the peace and calmness the mind can experience.

AYURVEDIC AND SATWIK FOOD

As per Ayurveda each of three energies Vata, Pitta, Kapha believed to circulate in the body govern physiological activity. Their differing proportions determine individual temperament and physical constitution. Ayurveda / Satwik / Yogic style cooking is rational way to prepare food keeping in mind the dietary need of an individual based on different body types. These foods are simple, balanced and nutritious. Ayurveda diet has 3 main focus - healing, prevention and health care.

BANDHAS

Bandhas means to lock, close-off, to stop. In the practice of bandha the energy flow to a particular area of the body is blocked .When the bandha is released this causes the energy to flood more strongly through the body with an increased pressure. The bandhas are used to stimulate prana and chakras.

AYURVEDIC AND YOGIC CLEANSING TECHNIQUES

In Ayurveda 5 main cleansing techniques mentioned called as panchakarma = pancha means five and karma means techniques/methods. Main 5 detox processes are Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya, Raktamokshana. Yogic cleansing – In Yoga there ae 6 such techniques called as Shadkarmas Dhauti, Vasti, Neti, Nauli, Traatak, Kapal bhaati. By following ayurvedic and yogic technique one can achieve not only healthy and fit body but also help to replenish our mind and soul.
